Here's an idea, do you still have fabric from the top? Maybe you can add a little of it in the skirt, between the layers, or as an extra ruffle at the bottom of the skirt...
Just an idea, but as I said, you did a wonderfull job! Have lots of fun with it!
Since taking the photo I added more to the skirt - thanks for the suggestion Amirah!
Tisha, I made the skirt by making a tube big enough for the widest part of my hips. I cut an asymmetrical hemline so that it was shorter in front than back, and then I rouched it in 4 places (two in front along center of each leg and two in back. I added trims along rouching, some laces along back and rouched and lace fabric along the bottom edge of the skirt --- and Voila! :)
The ruffled skirt with the other skirt over it is super!
